We are back from Germany where Milli (Eyewitness Cosmic Girl) has been mated to a dog called Rising Sun Spot at Narrow Lane.

Split in Turku

Tiina and Split (EW Sunborn) won a class 1 agility competition today in Turku. Congratulations Tiina for a great course!

Hertz and Gimma in Vaasa

Marko & Hertz (EW Soulmate) won a class 1 agility compeition today in Vaasa with a clean run. Kati & Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) were second in class, also with a clean run. Kati and Gimma get to compete in class 2 from now on. They got all the three required results in just one week.

Konna & I won a class 3 agility competition with a clean run later in the afternoon.

Konna wins district championship

Konna & I won the district championship today with two clean runs. Konna is now qualified to compete in Finnish Championships and the national team tryout competition in summer 2010. In the team competition team OCA (Kati with Gimma and Konna, Marko with Space and Hertz) were placed second. The winning team was VAS with our Kiara and Anders who did a great clean run :)

Sitku and Esa were placed 2nd today in a class 3 competition in Helsinki, congrats!

Milli wins in class 2

Milli (Eyewitness Cosmic Girl) and Era competed today in agility class 2 in Helsinki. They won their class with a clean run. One more leg missing from class 3. Congrats for a great run, Era :)

Milli's mum Konna & I were second today with a clean run in Vöyri class 3 agility competition.

Jens tracking

Jens (Eyewitness Cover Story) and Sari were competing at a district championship competition in tracking. They were third in class 3, receiving the title JK3. Congrats Sari!

Gimma's first agility competition

Gimma (Eyewitness Still Lovin'Ewe) and Kati went to their first official agility competition at Vöyri. They began with style: they won both of the two class 1 competitions with a clear run. Huge congrats Kati for a job well done :))

Dixi gets a CACIAG

Yet another girl from our P-litter has been doing well last weekend: Dixi (Eyewitness Pandemonium) and Anne won an international agility competition in Latvia and got a CACIAG! Huge congratulations, Anne :)

Jumping Champion sisters

We got two Finnish Jumping Champions on one day: Sitku (Eyewitness Private Eye) & Esa won a jumping course in Kouvola and were 2nd on an agility course. Konna (Eyewitness Perfect Crime) & I won a jumping course in Seinäjoki. These sisters got the last required jumping certificates and are now not only Agility Champions but also Jumping Champions. What a super day!

Sitku (Eyewitness Private Eye) and Esa did two clean runs today in Joensuu. They were placed 2nd on both courses. Congratulations once again :)

Figo in class 3

Figo (Eyewitness Crime Suspect) and Pasi won a class 2 agility competition today in Mikkeli. Figo and Pasi get to compete in class 3 from now on. Congrats to the fifth class 3 competitor in our C-litter!

Konna's agility competition in Tampere

Konna and I were placed second yesterday in an agility class 3 competition in Tampere. The class was won by Konna's nephew Omie with his handler Elina :)

Another day of competition in Vaasa

We had another great day of agility today: on the second course of the day Konna and I won, and Loox & I were third with a clear run :)

Agility competition in Vaasa

We competed in very hot, sunny weather today in Vaasa. Vimma (Eyewitness Airborne) and Minna won a class 2 competition with a clear run. Congrats!

In class 3 Konna and I won the agility course with a clear run. On jumping course it was Loox's turn to win :) She now has got two certificates from both agility and jumping, and we'll be able to start hunting for the missing ones (one from each) in spring 2010.

A lovely guest

We got a visitor: Milli (Eyewitness Cosmic Girl) came to stay with us for a few days, thanks Era! We are planning to have Milli mated later this year. The planned litter has been my dream for a couple of years, fingers crossed that things go as we hope :)

Loox 2 years

Our little Miss Looxorious celebrated her 2nd birthday yesterday.

Konna and I ran a clear run yesterday in Valkeakoski on a class 3 agility course. We were placed 4th.

PPR1 Flamma

Flamma (Cedar Flame for Eyewitness) and Solveig passed a herding test last weekend in Kiikala. Flamma has passed the test earlier, but this version of the test is also recognized by the Finnish Kennel Club. That makes Flamma's PPR1 title official in FKC papers, too. Huge congratulations to the skilled girls :)

Esa and Sitku competed in Mikkeli class 3 agility competition last weekend. They were 3rd with a clear run. Congrats!

My Little Red Star shines

We had a very tough weekend at the Finnish national team tryout competition in Turku. Three sisters Sitku, Kiara and Konna moved on to Sunday, but Sitku and Kiara unfortunately ended up with a disq. Konna and I were placed 11th in the class of 133 large dogs :))

I want to congratulate all my amazing team mates (LAW) for their great results, you all SO deserve every piece of your success!

C-litter 4 years old

My wishes are a bit late due to a busy weekend, but still: Happy 4th Birthday to our Eyewitness C-litter: Milli, Stara, Nipsu, Josko, Oiva, Figo, Casey and Jens :)

Cadet news from Canada

Cadet (Eyewitness So Tru to Cedar) has some more health clearances:

Patellas- OFA normal (OFA # BCO-PA84)
Elbows- OFA normal (1377631) 'No evidence for elbow dysplasia, on left or right elbow'

Also Cadet's back and shoulders were x-rayed, everything was normal :)

A New Look

Noomi and Anu in the Finnish obedience championships

Last weekend Noomi (Eyewitness Puzzling Twist) and Anu competed in obedience Finnish Championships. They were 9th on Saturday among more than 90 competitors, received 284,5 points and a place in the finals. On Sunday Noomi and Anu got 245 points and were 17th in the total results. Congratulations to you both for the great work!

Swedish Agility Champion Sitku

Sitku and Esa competed last weekend in Porvoo class 3 agility competition. They were placed 2nd with a clear run.

Yesterday Sitku & Esa competed in Gävle, Sweden. They were 5th with a clear run and received a certificate, with which Sitku got the a Swedish Agility Champion title :)

Changes in our diary

I have been blogging for a while now and decided to change also my website's diary page into a blog version. This makes updating a lot easier, and hopefully it will happen a bit more often from now on :)
