Stara (EW Celebrity) and Anna-Maija won a class 3 agility competition in Rauma last Saturday.

On Sunday Noomi (EW Puzzling Twist) and Tiina won a class 3 jumping course. Noomi received her first jumping certificate.

Agility in Vaasa and Vantaa

We were competing in Vaasa class 3 agility competition last Saturday. Konna (EW Perfect Crime) and I won an agility course with a clean run. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) and I were placed second on an agility course.

Noomi (EW Puzzling Twist) and Tiina were placed 5th in Vantaa class 3 agility competition with a clean run, congratulations!

Agility and sunshine

A long, sunny weekend with a lot of agility:

Last Wednesday Esa & Sitku (EW Private Eye) were placed second on a class 3 agility course in Orimattila. On Thursday they were competing in Vantaa where they were placed 5th with a clean run. They continued with clean runs on Sunday in Hämeenlinna by being placed 3rd on an agility course and 2nd in jumping.

We were competing in Lieto class 3 agility competition on Thursday. Kati & Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe), Anna-Maija & Stara (EW Celebrity) and me & Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) ran clean on an agility course. Konna (EW Perfect Crime) and I ran clean in jumping.

Agility and herding results

Last weekend we competed both in Seinäjoki and in Lieto. Marko and Hertz (EW Soulmate) won a class 2 agility course and a jumping course with clean runs. They get to compete in class 3 from now on. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) and I were placed 2nd in a class 3 agility competition in Seinäjoki.

Kati and Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) ran clean twice in class 3 in Lieto. Konna (EW Perfect Crime) and I also ran clean on an agility course.

Solveig and Flamma (Cedar Flame for Eyewitness) competed in herding. They were place 2nd on Saturday and 4th on Sunday.

F-litter 9 years old

Noomi in Lohja, Sitku in Riihimäki

Anu and Noomi (EW Puzzling Twist) won a class 3 agility competition last weekend in Lohja. This was Noomi's second agility certificate from class 3.

Esa and Sitku (EW Private Eye) competed in Riihimäki. They ran clean on a class 3 agility course being 3rd in class.

Loox gets her title: Finnish Agility Champion

Loox received her third agility certificate yesterday in Lieto and is now Fin AgCH Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing.

Loox started competing on February 22nd 2009. She moved up to class 3 on March 28th 2009 and won for the first time in class 3 the very next day. Thanks so much Marie for the perfect little girl with whom every single course is pure looxury :) A big thank you also to our dear friends who keep supporting us on our way <3

Agility Easter

Split (EW Sunborn) and Tiina were placed 8th in a class 3 competition of 80 dogs in Helsinki on Friday. Konna (EW Perfect Crime) and I ran clean on an agility course and the jumping course (placements 6th/80 and 5th/89. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) and I ran all three courses of the day clean. We were placed 9th/80 and 7th/96 on the agility courses and 2nd/89 on jumping.

On Easter Sunday there were class 3 competitions in both Lieto and Helsinki.
Split (EW Sunborn) and Tiina got their first agility certificate by being 2nd with a fabulous run in a class of 67 dogs in Lieto. Konna (EW Perfect Crime) and I ran clean on two courses, placement 4th/67 on both. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) and I were placed 3rd on the second course and Loox received her third agility certificate.

In the Helsinki competition Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) and Kati ran their first clean run in class 3 (placement 14th/85). Possu (EW Fly Girl) ran clean too with Marika (placement 17th/85).

Stara's clean runs

Stara (EW Celebrity) and Anna-Maija ran two clean runs last weekend in Tampere. These girls are really doing great at the moment! Congrats again :)

Split to class 3

Split (EW Sunborn) and Tiina ran clean on a class 2 agility course today in Lieto. They were 2nd in class. Split and Tiina will be seen in class 3 from now on. Super congrats!

Stara in Lieto, Sitku in Kouvola

Stara (EW Celebrity) and Anna-Maija won a class 3 agility competition today in Lieto with a clean run. They also ran clean on the second course of the day and are now qualified to compete in the Finnish Championships and the national team tryout competition next summer.

Sitku (EW Private Eye) and Esa ran a clean run in Kouvola today. They were placed 2nd in class.

Gimma, Hertz and Sitku winning in agility

Some great agility news again from this weekend: Marko and Hertz (EW Soulmate) won a class 2 agility competition yesterday in Seinäjoki with a clean run. Kati and Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) won the second course, also with a clean run. Gimma and Kati get to compete in class 3 from now on.

Today Esa and Sitku (EW Private Eye) won a class 3 agility competition in Helsinki.

Agility results from two weekends

A week ago Solveig & Flamma (Cedar Flame for Eyewitness) and Anna-Maija & Stara (EW Celebrity) ran clean in Lieto agility class 3 competition.

Last Saturday there was again a class 3 competition in Lieto. Solveig & Flamma (Cedar Flame for Eyewitness) were second on an agility course with a clean run. Anna-Maija & Stara (EW Celebrity) ran clean on both agility and jumping courses. Konna (EW Perfect Crime) and I ran clean on two agility courses being placed 3rd and 5th.

S-litter 2 years old

Happy Birthday to our S-litter: Cadet, Gimma, Split, Stidi and Hertz are celebrating their second birthday today :)

Also in our memories today is Sinna whose birthday this is, too.

Space's birthday

Happy Birthday to our dear Spaceman who is 10 years old today! Space is enjoying the winter days by digging holes into snow. Space is still full of life and making us happy every day :)

Kati and Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) ran clean in agility class 2 in Tampere. They were placed 2nd in class. One leg away from class 3 :)

A-litter 5 years old

About health issues

There are a lot of rumours going on about epilepsy at the moment around Europe. I was notified that people in Central Europe think that we have cases of epilepsy in our litters. This is not true, we do not have had any cases yet, fortunately. I think the reason for misunderstandings is that I have written "EPI" to two different Eyewitness dogs. This does not mean epilepsy, it is short for Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. I have now changed the letters "EPI" to the full name of the illness.

I have listed all the health problems we have had to "Eyewitness litters" page. Also all the problems that have come to my attention in Space's offspring are listed on "Space's offspring" page.

Flamma 2nd in Lieto

Solveig and Flamma (Cedar Flame for Eyewitness) ran a clean run last weekend in Lieto class 3 agility competition. They were placed 2nd in a class of 41 dogs. Congrats Solveig!

Spooky 13 years old

Our precious lady Spooky is celebrating her 13th birthday today. Spooky is still going strong, she comes with us to all the walks and keeps our pack in order. Happy Birthday sweetie!

Clean runs to Sitku

Sitku (EW. Private Eye) started the new year in a nice way. First in Hyvinkää Outi handled her to two clean runs (placed 4th and 8th). A week later Esa was handling her in Eckerö where they ran clean and were placed 8th. Stidi (EW. Stargazer) began competing in agility class 1.

Split wins

Split and Tiina won a class 2 agility competition today in Hyvinkää. Only one step away from class 3. A big hug to Tiina for a job well done :)

A busy agility weekend

A lot of great Eyewitness results from last weekend:

Anne and Sulka (EW. All Eyez On Me) moved up to agility class 3.

Kati and Gimma (EW. Still Lovin'Ewe) won a class 2 agility competition in Seinäjoki with a clean run.

Elina and Split (EW. Sunborn) were placed 3rd in Lieto class 2 competition with a clean run.

Anna-Maija and Stara (EW. Celebrity) ran clean on a class 3 agility course in Lieto.

Outi and Sitku (EW. Private Eye) ran clean and were placed 2nd in a class 3 agility competition in Porvoo. Last weekend they made two clean runs in Riihimäki class 3 competition.

Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) and I ran clean on all three courses yestarday in Seinäjoki class 3 competition. Loox is now qualified to compete in Finnish Championships and the national team tryout competition in 2010. Konna (EW. Perfect Crime) and I ran without faults on two courses.

Milli's puppies are here

Milli (EW Cosmic Girl) and Spot (Rising Sun Spot at Narrow Lane) puppies were born on Sunday evening. Milli didn't waste much time: five girls and one boy were born within one hour :) We are extremely proud and happy about these fast little cuties!

Split to class 2

Tiina & Split (EW Sunborn) competed in a class 1 agility competition last weekend. They ran a clean run being second in class and moved up to class 2. A big hug to Tiina :)

Introducing: Loffo

I travelled to the Netherlands yesterday to give a couple agility lessons and to pick up a gift from my dear friend Danielle Boshouwers: a little tricolour boy called Nice of You to Come Bye Dust Devil. He will be co-owned and loved by Marjo Keturi and her family, living quite close to us :) Thanks so much Danielle for trusting the brave and funny little fellow with us!

Triple and double success

Konna (EW Perfect Crime) & I competed on three class 3 courses in Lieto last weekend. We won two agility competitions and were placed 2nd in jumping. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) was 4th with a clean run in one agility competition.

Konna's sister Sitku (EW Private Eye) was handled by Outi in Kotka class 3 competition. They made two clean runs and won one of them. Congrats :)
