Updates from February and March

Tuumis (EW Expect the Unxpected) & her handler Misa competed in Vantaa on February 5th They ran clean on all three courses of the day. Tuumis & Misa are now qualified to compete in both the Finnish Championships and the national team tryout competition next summer. Huge congrats!

Space (Fin AgCh JK1 BH PPR1 Laetare Bowler Jack) celebrated his 12th birthday on a beautiful winter Sunday, February 12th. Space is still doing great and he spent his special day by doing some grandpa agility, digging in the snow and having a delicious meal.

We started our agility year by competing on three class 3 courses in Haukipudas in the end of February. Each dog in the team ran one clean run. TiuTau (Eyewitness Eavesdropper) & Jenni ran clean on the second course. Split (FI AVA Eyewitness Sunborn) & Marko were placed 2nd on the last course. Also Loox (FI AVA & AVA-H Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) & Jenni and Hertz (FI AVA & AVA-H Eyewitness Soulmate) & Marko ran clean on the last course.

On Saturday, March 3rd, Looxi, TiuTau and I competed in Lempäälä. Both girls ran clean on the agility course, Loox being placed 2nd in class and TiuTau being 6th. On the jumping course Loox did another clean run and won the class.

Eyewitness S -litter celebrated their birthday on March 4th. Split, Gimma, Stidi, Cadet and Hertz are now 4 years old.

Sentti (Eyewitness Extra Terrestrial) and her handler Marjukka were competing in a class 1 competition in Hyvinkää. They ran clean and won the class. Super!

Beginning of 2012

Fore (EW To the Moon'n Back) went to x-rays: hips A-A, elbows 0-0.

Solveig & Flamma (Cedar Flame for Eyewitness) ran two clean runs last Saturday in Lieto class 3 agility competition. They were placed 6th / 49 and 5th / 53. Congrats girls!

Happy Birthday to Eyewitness A-litter who are seven years old today: Vimma, Vinha, Sulka, Pekko & Troy!

A new Agility Champion and other great agility results

Tuomas & Bruno (EW Eye Spot Ewe) won two class 1 agility competitions in Joensuu. Anna-Maija & Stara (EW Celebrity) ran clean on a class 3 agility course in Lieto.

A lot of great Eyewitness results at Seinäjoki: Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) & Kati ran clean on three courses. Gimma received the title Finnish Agility Champion. Marjo & Konna (EW Perfect Crime) ran clean on two agility courses, Minna & Vimma (EW Airborne) and Marko & Hertz (EW Soulmate) ran clean on one agility course. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) & I made a double-0.

Three weekends - a lot of clean runs

Two weeks ago Misa & Tuumis (EW Expect the Unxpected) ran clean in Lieto, they were placed 8th. Anna-Maija & Stara (EW Celebrity) also ran clean on the same course.

A week later Misa & Tuumis were competing in Kuopio. They ran two clean runs and were placed 3rd on both courses.

Yesterday Eyewitness dogs were competing in three different competitions. Pasi & Figo (EW Crime Suspect) did a double-0 at Purina being placed 7th and 3rd. Anna-Maija & Stara ran two clean runs in Lieto. They were placed 4th and 3rd. We were competing in Pietarsaari where Marko & Hertz (EW Soulmate) did a triple-0 (placements 4. / 2. /1. ). On the jumping course Marko ran clean also with Split (EW Sunborn) who won the competition being a bit faster than his brother Hertz. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) and I did a double-0 (3. / 4.)

Loffo to class 3 and other agility results

Marjo & Loffo (Nice of You to Come Bye Dust Devil) won a class 2 agility competition at Vöyri. They will be seen in class 3 from now on.

Marko & Split (EW Sunborn) won a class 3 agility course at Vöyri. Sister Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) & Kati also ran clean. They were 2nd in class.

Esa & Sitku (EW Private Eye) ran clean on a class 3 course at Purina. They were placed 3rd in class.

Sunday agility in Kokkola

Yesterday was a day of a competition of three class 3 agility courses in Kokkola. Marko & Hertz (EW Soulmate) ran two clean runs in a row winning both of the competitions. Kati & Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) ran clean on the second course of the day being placed 2nd. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing)& I ran two clean runs being placed 3rd and 4th.

Agility in France and in Finland

The lovely Flinn and her handler Roy Fonteijn won the FCI world championship in Lievin, France, yesterday. Flinn is a daughter of Space living in the Netherlands. Huge congrats to Roy and Flinn who are such a lovely team to watch :) Space and I are very, very proud of you!

Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) & I won a class 3 agility competition in Noormarkku with a clean run.

Agility and obedience results

Misa & Tuumis (EW Expect the Unxpected) started competing in class 3 with style: they won a jumping course in Hyvinkää with a clean run and received a jumping certificate! In the same competition Pasi & Figo (EW Crime Suspect) ran clean on an agility course and were placed 2nd.

Anna-Maija & Flamma (Cedar Flame for Eyewitness) ran clean on a class 3 jumping course in Lieto. They were placed 2nd and Flamma received a jumping certificate.

Reetta & Höyry (EW Ewe-No-Me) were competing on a class 1 agility course in Oulu. Clean run, 1st in class.

Minna & Vimma (EW Airborne) were placed 2nd in obedience class 4 district championships. First prize results with 268,5 points.

In memoriam

Life sure is not always fair. Our friend Tiina Salonen (ent. Grönlund) lost her long battle with her illness. I still cannot understand that my happy and positive friend is not here anymore.

Tiina taught me a new way of thinking and living. People often say that you should cease the moment and enjoy little things. Tiina was the one who showed me what it really means.

Thank you Tiina for being my friend. I promise you that Marko and I will take really good care of your dear Split.

Gimma's character test, Sitku's agility competition

Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) passed the character test with great points 207, secure to shots.

We were competing at Vaasa district championships on Saturday. Eyewitness team had a fabulous day:

Out of the 15 podium places in Pietarsaari & Kokkola class 3 (large) competitions this weekend 13 went to team Eyewitness.

Misa & Tuumis (Eyewitness Expect the Unxpected) won a class 2 agility course in Nastola. They get to compete in class 3 from now on.

Esa & Sitku (Eyewitness Private Eye) ran clean on a class 3 agility course in Vantaa. They were placed 5th.

A breeder could not be much more proud than I am right now. Congrats everyone for the great results this weekend!

Agility in Lieto, Vaasa and Helsinki

Last weekend Anna-Maija & Stara (EW Celebrity) competed in class 3. They ran clean on each of the three courses, wow :))

In Vaasa TiuTau (EW Eavesdropper) & I won a class 2 agility course. TiuTau gets to compete in class 3 from now on. In class 3 Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) and I won the first course of the day. The second course was won by Marko & Hertz (EW Soulmate), Kati & Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) were placed second.

Misa & Tuumis (EW Expect the Unxpected) ran clean and won a class 2 agility course in Helsinki.

Two new champions

Last weekend gave us two new Eyewitness Agility Champions. We are so very proud of:

Fin AgCh Eyewitness Crime Suspect "Figo"

Figo & Pasi won an agility course in Kouvola. They received their third agility certificate and Figo gained the Agility Champion title

Marko & Hertz won an agility course in Oulu. They, too, received their third agility certificate and Hertz gained the champion title.







Marko & Split (EW Sunborn) won a jumping course in Oulu. Split received his second jumping certificate. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) & I were placed 3rd on an agility course.

Two weeks ago Anna-Maija and Stara (EW Celebrity) ran clean on a class 3 jumping course in Lieto.

Reetta & Höyry (EW Ewe-No-Me) started competing in obedience. They received a 1st prize result with 192 points (/200).

Summer holiday results

We have been spending our summer holidays so the updates are a bit late:

Pasi & Figo (EW Crime Suspect) did great in the agility national team tryout competition in Seinäjoki. They were placed 8th in the final results, wow!

Misa & Tuumis (EW Expect the Unxpected) won a class 1 agility competition in Maaninka and moved up to class 2. A couple of weeks later they won a class 2 competition in Järvenpää.

Anna-Maija & Stara (EW Celebrity) ran clean in Rauma. They were placed 3./44 on the agility course and 7./42 in jumping. A week later they ran clean on a jumping course in Orivesi being placed 6./32.

Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) and I ran clean and won two agility courses in Vöyri. Marko & Hertz (EW Soulmate) were placed 2nd on the last course with a clean run.

Nipsu (EW Comedienne) was the 4th best bitch and received a CC in Pori Dog Show.

Updates from last 3 weeks

A lot has happened during the last three weeks:

We were competing at Finnish Agility Championships in Nastola on June 19th. Several dogs from team Eyewitness had qualified to compete:Tiina & Split (EW Sunborn), Anna-Maija & Stara (EW Celebrity), Pasi & Figo (EW Crime Suspect), Esa & Sitku (EW Private Eye), Kati & Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe), Marko & Hertz (EW Soulmate) and me & Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing).. Kati & Gimma and me & Loox ran clean on the qualifying round and got to compete in the finals. On the final course both Gimma and Loox missed the up-contact of the dogwalk. Gimma was placed 16th and Loox was 19th in the total results in a class of 181 dogs.

Misa & Tuumis (EW Expect the Unxpected) ran clean on a class 1 course in a midsummer event in Tuorla. They were placed 2nd in class.

Esa & Sitku (EW Private Eye) have been competing in Norway. They have ran clean on two jumping courses and two agility courses.

Minna & Vimma (EW Airborne) ran clean on a jumping course in Seinäjoki. They were placed 5th.

Kati & Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) were placed 3rd after a clean run on a jumping course in Kokkola. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) & I ran clean on an agility course being 4th in class.

Nipsu (EW Comedienne) was performing at Tuusula breed show. She was the 2nd best bitch and received a CC.

Sunny hot weather and a lot of clean runs

A hot summer weekend with a lot of great Eyewitness results:

Jens (EW Cover Story) & Sari were competing in Ivalo. They won a jumping course with a clean run and received their first jumping certificate.

Gimma (EW Still Lovin'Ewe) & Kati won a class 3 agility course in Vaasa.

Sitku (EW Private Eye) & Esa ran clean on a jumping course in Riihimäki. They were placed 3rd.

TiuTau (EW Eavesdropper) & I ran clean and won two class 1 agility courses on Saturday. TiuTau moved up to class 2. On Sunday we ran clean on a class 2 agility course and won the class.

Clean runs and Milli's agility certificate

Milli (EW Cosmic Girl) & Era competed in Helsinki. They ran clean on an agility course and received their first agility certificate.

Sitku (EW Private Eye) & Esa were competing in Hämeenlinna. Clean run and 2nd place on an agility course. The next day they ran clean in Nastola and were placed 5th on an agility course. Figo (EW Crime Suspect) & Pasi ran clean on a jumping course and were placed 7th.

Loffo (Nice of You to Come Bye Dust Devil) & Marjo ran clean and won a class 1 agility course in Pietarsaari. They get to compete in class 2 from now on :)

TiuTau (EW Eavesdropper) & I competed on the same course, it was our first competition ever. Clean run, 2nd place.

Milli (EW Cosmic Girl) & Era ran clean on a class 3 agility course at Purina Arena. Well done Era :)
